The new Mathomat for whiteboards drawing tool is designed for large scale whiteboard sketches to discuss, or demonstrate, Mathomat activities in class – or simply for use as a helpful whiteboard tool in its own right.
The Mathomat WB4 whiteboard template is based on the Mathomat Senior template design. It is 550 x 700mm (the V3 is 210 x 285mm). Shapes in the student template are scaled up 2.7 times in the whiteboard template.
The Mathomat Senior whiteboard template includes,
A cluster of curves for sketching parabola and quartic graphs
A set of curves for sketching cubic graphs
A set of sine, cosine and tan curves for trigonometric curves, coordinated with the unit circle
Clusters of shapes for prisms, pyramid, cylinder sketches
Circles and ellipses for geometric drawing
Our small, powerful, new magnets can keep the WB-3 permanently attached to the school whiteboard.
Professor Chris Tisdell demonstrates the classroom potential of the new Mathomat whiteboard template along with his new Constructor 1 template design in a video series in the Mathomat Activity Centre (MAC) which can be accessed from the home page.
The Mathomat WB-4 whiteboard template is subject to Australian Patent number 2018101269 and 20201167 Australian Patent application number 2021221739 and Australian design registration 202013662
