Exploring Pattern Block Designs Using Mathomat
The Mathomat Explorer manual invites you to design extra-large dodecagon patterns. Use printout designs from the Explorer Manual support site.
This new activity takes advantage of the full set of pattern block shapes now included in all large format Mathomat templates.
Mathomat template pattern block shapes are large with 20mm side lengths for big block design drawings. Students can understand the geometry of larger shapes more easily. This activity explores pattern block designs in a secondary school classroom context.
