Plato's Protractor™ - I
Students are introduced to the idea of openness. This aspect of angle needs to be understood to be able to measure angle size. In Plato’s Protractor I the Mathomat kids think of openness as a ratio of arc lengths. They learn to construct an arc length image of angle measure. Students use the TGT in their Mathomat along with string and a calculator to calculate examples of angle openness
